won't it fight to go straight, no matter what, if the props are running at the same speed? the faster you go, i think, the bigger the fight....

Newsflash, the most profound modeler at our lake ordered one with my uncle yesterday.
He was gonna throw in twin Novaks, but opted with twin 1800 kv Sv27r golds

          I'll keep you gents posted..

Without a prop at the rear, I don't see what's keeping the back end up and out of the water. It'll either drag (with a super wide contact area) or, more likely, bounce up and down fiercely.

In the turns, particularly if you don't counter rotate the props, it may actually just slide sideways across the surface.

I guess they needed to put the drives in the sponsons for that "boundaryless ultra large cabin" eh?

What's next? Twin outboards, one on the back of each sponson?

This is why I love the forums and youtube. I get to watch the results (good or bad) of other people spending their money.

Well, if there's no weight in the back, I suppose the lift generated from the twin rudders might be enough.
I agree, counter rotating would be better, and you could squeeze a turn fin on the hull. Gotta be custom, but it could be done. I don't think this would be impossible.

The proto must have had problems turning, hence the dual (and long) rudders.

There's a cool thought, why not go all the way and triple it out?

I'll recommend it as a second option. We wanna see what she does as is first. The only thing about 3 that detones MY imagination is 2 of the props will be rotating the same direction.
Properly tuned, I'm sure it would work, I'm just fascinated with counter rotating..

Apparently, he had to lathe up those couplers, did away with those universals, plus the universals were machined for a 3mm motor output shaft..

The crazy thing is this, The twin cat hull I bought and the Godspeed cat I had, were really nice pulls, thin mind you but, really nice polished gel coat and, fine even seam. The hatch wasn't the best fit but, places like H&M now sell the same hull of equal or lesser quality for double the price and more.

I don't see why people complain when they get a hull for peanuts.
