I think it's not a problem with the battery since it is showing 15+ volts... if one cell was bad, it would probably show less voltage then that...
In regards of the mah of charge, when you punch in the mAh in the charger it tells the charger the capacity of the cells you have.... if you put 300mAh it'll be undercharged...
the amount of cell you select dictates the voltage that will be shot to the PACK, so that is one that you have to double check to make sure is right. You obviously wanna be right with everything.
I think you may have a balancer that is not compatible with Hyperion... I use Hyperion on my cells, LOVE it, but I only use Hyperion balancers... have not even tried different brands on it. If I was in your shoes, I'd go to a hobby shop and buy myself a Hyperion balancer, try it and if it works you know the problem and how to fix it, if it still doesn't work, return the item because you don't need it. You can also borrow one from a friend just to try it.
