From last October is all I could find - Jay explaining his secret prop bending technique : Hold piece of paper in mouth, breath out rapidly through nose on prop, bend with thumbs. Expressions on your & Brian's faces show intense concentration/consideration

Here are some pics from the March 2012 LA SAW Trip...
I'll try to describe the pics here... hopefully in the order in which they upload...
1) On my way to Brian's in Oregon... Got a little encouragement.
2) Brian's boats all ready to load up
3) Car is ALMOST packed...
4) My newest props... all cooked and ready for final prep
5) The Siskiyou Pass... Chains required... Turning everyone around... UNLESS you were driving a Subaru, in which case, the road crew guy just smiled, gave us the thumbs up, and waved us on up!Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

1) Somewhere in Northern California... Signs of the weekend to come!
2) Arriving at the lake on Friday Morning...
3) Me... Hanging out, and looking a little ragged...
4) Brian working on the inspection of the "U"'s beautiful, and FAST, HPR135 Cat. First Cat in America over 100mph, with a 105mph two-way average.
5) Kevin U with his Dad and their record holding Cat...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

1) Brian and Tyler's Father making adjustments on Tyler's now record holding Q-Hydro...
2) Tony's P-Ltd Offshore Record Holding Drifter Cat... Took this one to SHOW everyone what a very much UNBURNED Stator looks like, as well as to prove it was done using legal shrink, etc... In fact, I believe Tony pulled this motor right out of a box, new, put his connectors on it, and put it in the boat. Simply awesome what one can do with the proper tuning!
3) "Witching Hour" at the lake on Sunday Evening....
4) Tyler and his props... Decisions, decisions, decisions....Last edited by Darin Jordan; 03-09-2012, 04:04 PM.Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

We did have to work for it! The earlier passes started out at 102 and got up to a 2-way average of 119.7 mph before the last run. The first pass of the last run looked like it wasn't going to hit the numbers, but the second pass now with warm batteries started to work. Third pass sealed the two average at 122.887. Fast pass was 123.xxx.
