don't worry Doc, as all good addicts say, "just one more"
I have made a build list as to how they'll see the table, that way in a month or so I won't have started all and finished none.

So Danny what are your plans for the df-41 I was running mine today and I must say it is a great hull

well I have a few spare 1717's and a 1527, I'm a little unsure what way to go, what do you think?? 1717 or 1527 or if I can make them fit for giggles I'd love a twin 41 mono with the exact same electronic set up as the twin 42" cat and learn the difference between the hulls. After a little playing around but no real measuring I think I might be able to squeeze a couple of 1717's in there but I'm getting a little sick of the overkill routine, fast, unstable, crash, paddle

Docw has again offered his knowledge and I think the 1527 will have a nice home in the 41" and now I have a tad more experience, I might run a 1717 in the 35 again and see if I can get it right this time, winters full.
I really am getting sick of paddling.

                Good luck chris
                How's your cat btw?

I never even started it I have too much on my plate i might power it with a 2028 now i cant decide that is what is taking so long but the 1527 is a perfect motor for that hull I have the 1y in mine running on 6 & 8s and it is in e high 60's on 8s and I can play with props more rite now I am running a x450/3 x452/2 x455/2 but I wouldnt over think this build the boat is plenty of fun with a single if set up rite my only advise is glue a set of rails in it 4 or 5 inch it really stiffened up the hull a lot reinforce the hatch a lot and use a strut and start with a strut height of 7/16 with a 455 prop and a for smaller props 3/8 to center of prop shaft this is where I found the hull rides nice

I can't see myself trying to break any records in the near future and I don't race, I just like pissing around with these things so speeds not my main goal (but I will flog the guts out of it evey now and then) I have carbon/kevlar cloth to stiffen and strengthen the hull and hatch, I'll more than likely add carbon side supports to the 1527 mount, lipo trays and double up the transom for a bit of added piece of mind. This Neu is a 1500kv 1.5d so I'll stick to 6s 60-65mph and if need be drop to 5s and prop accordingly 50-55mph?, I think the sf240 should handle it. I watched your video, it looks pretty sweet to me, I look forward to knocking this bloody cat out of the way and getting stuck into it.
