Here's a copy, but it handled great. I would expect the same from the DF 41:

He'd need to go 8s to get any decent speed

Yes, I wouldn't run it on any less than 8s, more likely 9s.

I'm thinking of using the electronic's out of my ex df35:
                  Sport boat only
                  Neu 1527 1.5d 1500kv
                  Swordfish 240hv speedo
                  running 6s(33,300rpm) with a X447/3 or 7s(38,850rpm) X646/3, are these prop's close?

Should I go 1/4" flex with 3/16 step down or will 3/16 be enough?

Is this worth pursuing or should I keep looking, I want to get this order in tonight, please assist.
                  Thanks
I said on the phone I had a DF35 Id send for postage to replace your graffiti covered DF35...

First finish your twin sprintcat but on the df 41 I run a 1527 1y on 6 and 8 s and on 8s I am getting speeds in the very high 60's and on the last run my eagle tree said 71 but I think something was off with that but I am using nothing smaller than 450 3 blade as anything smaller can't even get the boat on plane it ran horrible with a 447 but the df 41 is a great hull one of my favorites

                      Good luck chris

thanks mate, advice taken and the cats the next thing going on the building table as soon as the sheds tidy and user freindly again, I've let it get pretty bad so tonight I'll finish cleaning and get into it again in a day or so, no paint, just drive shafts, trim, program and seal the hatch and I'll have the first video

I just received the df41, Thanks steve!!!!!! My sheds full again, now I've got the cat to finish, then a df29, df35, df41, I love my mono's. After seeing this hull I have another idea in mind for a set up in this beast.

Millzee I would recommend putting a strut on it not a stinger it makes dialing in much easier and watch placement of hardware as the transom is tight for space if you want to use trim tabs I will send you some pics of how laid it all out if u want let me know
