    Delta Force 41 mono?????????

Sorry guy's but I've search a little and haven't found a lot of info on handling, top speeds or set up's on this hull, can anyone share there experiences or link some threads with this boat??

    http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...rod=df-delta41

I'm thinking of using the electronic's out of my ex df35:
    Sport boat only
    Neu 1527 1.5d 1500kv
    Swordfish 240hv speedo
    running 6s(33,300rpm) with a X447/3 or 7s(38,850rpm) X646/3, are these prop's close?

Should I go 1/4" flex with 3/16 step down or will 3/16 be enough?

Is this worth pursuing or should I keep looking, I want to get this order in tonight, please assist.
    Thanks

Millzee, I've seen a copy of one go well with a 1527/1Y. I think the 1Y is better suited to that hull than the 1.5D.

But it could work. What's the aim compared to the Pirate?

3/16" shaft should be fine on 6S.

I hope the motor will suit this hull, I'm still a little lost as to the exact difference between the y&d other than kv. I'm thinking the extra 5 or so inches will be more suited as after watching past videos of the pirate - 1717 1580kv proved that it was overpowered and I'd like to enjoy my driving a little more so it's not on edge driving that 70/30 of the time ends up resulting in a couple of hours in the shed doing repairs or finding ways to make it stronger and so forth. I would like to aim at 100kph -62mph and get around 4-5 minutes runtime out of 6s2p 45-90c 10000mah nano's- just need a hull to put it in.

Yeah I do, but the 1527 should have enough go in it, don't you think?

Nah run the 1717 and sell me the 1527.LOL Just kidding.I just want a Neu.Make-a Wake's Darth Vader 39" goes great with a 1717.

I don't know if I can build anything any larger than 35" for my waters I run in.Though I'd like to.My 1717 35" is starting to make my lake feel small.

I race the 40" Delta Force mono. 1527 1Y (I think 1250 Kv), and an X455 for sprint racing (2 min 30 seconds top runtime) and I can drop to an X452 and get 3 min 30 seconds runtime on 6S, 10,000 Hyperion packs.

You're running more Kv than me, so keep it at 6S and stick with the X447/3 or possibly an X450/2. Keep a close eye on it (heat) while you test run it, and keep the timing low since you're running the D wind Neu.

Going to the 1527 1Y will give you more runtime (less speed, too), but you may find it to be more flexible of a motor choice on 6S.

The 1717 will provide more power in my opinion, i threw a 1527 in it after the 1717 and went back as i could only get about 50 out of it as opposed to 59 with the 1717 spinning an x450 on 6s2p. For longer runtime in the "sport boating" spirit, i'd go with an x447 with the 1717. You'll get lower to mid 50's.

Here's mine on the exact setup i just suggested

you can run the 3/16 setup

thanks for the advice, I have a few 1717's so I guessif I build a 40-41" I'll use one of them, now I'm only faced with, "What hull is best suited to the neu 1527 1.5d motor???"

How fast do you want to go? A Leopard 5692 1090kv would run great in that boat...that's what I would use if I were building it.
