Crap man, you should have thrown that up in the for sale section, I wanted a twin. But I already bought the hull. So it is what it is. What kind of $ were you looking for that boat, BTW?

I'm pretty sure it's 40x74 but I also ran a 1512 1800kv on 5s2p and it was pretty similar in speed but I like the weight the configuration was weird a 3s+2s on each side 3s belfries down and the 2s velcroed to that and that same 5s on a 1515 was the fasted boat I've ever seen in person

Oh and I did use the stock mount after laying checkerboard fg cloth and reinforcing with glass resin and still cracked the Gelcoat underneath in the tunnel

Right, it' s necessary to reinforce the HOTR hull and with a bulkhead it' s better

Mine arrived in the post this morning, cool looking cat :)

                  My setup will be.

                  Medusa MR3680 1600kv v2 SE
Etti 150 amp esc with capacitor bank
                  2 x 11.1 Turnigy 5000mah running as 6cell.

First electric boat, so I have no idea what my setup will be like but I hope it goes well.

These are great sport hulls and can haul the mail with serious power. However, they are not very good at turning, even with deep rudders, so not the best choice for an oval racer.

Neu 1521 on 4S1P - 83+ mph (official timing - not GBS). Plenty of room.

After I belw the stock motor in my single motor Apparition at Joe's, I put in a leopard 3672/2650KV & Octura 637 prop. (same prop I had at Joe's) Only one run on the new motor, but I guesstemate it was hitting 60+. The 637 is 5mm smaller with a 37mm in Dia @ 59.2mm pitch - vice the 442 at 42mm Dia & 58.8mm pitch. I've ordered more motors with stepped-up KV to try making it faster. JIM

83MPH on 4s nice one!! What KV is that? 2nd the turning is pretty bad. I only use mine for SAW running and I turn at 15-20MPH

Question: I want to run a 4082 size motor in this boat, but I don't think it will fit, (being 82mm long vs the 60mm L, stock)
I have read 1 thread saying they have put that size motor in there but I just don't see how that turd would fit? Anyone else run that size in a "single" set up??
Don't know much about Outrunners, whats a outrunner that has comp power to a 4082 size? and whats the main advantage/disadvantage to using one?

PS Fuids set up is sweet, whats a comparable motor to the Neu 1521?

                            thanks

The 1521 is about the same size as 4082. Fluid will hopefully comfirm
