Yeah, there are at least 2 events this season worthy of a trip and maybe a 3rd. The London gig really is a good time despite my whining. Great people, great pond, and a great area after hours. The cheese heads were threatening to have a nice smelly race for the cheese wheel in Wisconsin. Then there's some rumblings about doing a Michigan Cup in the traditional sense with all it's trimmings......bloouck......sorry, threw up i my mouth a little bit there. haha That's always a good time too.

Since we're meandering into the "Big OOPs " realm, here's my "Two-For-One Carnage Award" story : P-Sport Hydro heat at Legg. I loaned my shiny bad-a$& P-Sport to Jeff to run and ran my P-Ltd Sport rig just to make the class. On the third lap, while my pitman-spotter's brain was taking a romp in a parallel universe, Jeff went belly up on the back straight, and you guessed it, I nailed MY BOAT with MY OTHER BOAT. What a charming week I had on the workbench after that incident. Do I get a Hoo-Rah ??Good one Tony, sorta make's you feel like "why do I try?" or Doh!
Just to look at the other side of the coin. You guys that do not run the SRB why not? I do not want to hear the same answers, think deep.Comment

Can't tell you how many times I have posted this link on this forum. http://www.impba.net/index.php?optio...atid=28&id=191
How many of you guys voted on the rules? Did you read them first?
If you knew the rules why didn't you talk to the CD?
If you didn't, who you gonna blame for that? They aren't published or linked to whatever? It's your job to know. If you don't, ask!
Why are there only 489 members signed up on the IMPBA forum?
How many have made suggestions??
How many have read the Roostertails?
How many of you guys have stepped up and asked the IMPBA BOD or your Dist. Dir. "What can I do to help"??
You want a better org?? Make it that way!
BTW I love you guys!
Have a nice day,
Doug
PS I don't think you ever see Chris Harris chime in on a rules discussion on any forum other than the one linked to above......ahh, I feel better now
.....prepare for higher water levels in the South

What ever happened to the Vac-U-Vee? That would be another one worth trying on P-Spec, but I've not heard anything about them in ages.Comment

Hey Scott,
Phil is in the insurance business and with all of the tornadoes, floods, etc. he has been on the road.
Reed and Chris are still running the prototypes and doing well with them.
I'll see if I find out what Phils plans are.

These passes with test prop , boat ripped in further testing with a proper hear race prop
For the second trial the lake was blown out, but did pretty good in the big stuff; hull design should provide excellent balance/survivability in racewater.
