There's somethuing to be said about this being an O.S.E. site. I'm not saying O.S.E. has ever done me wrong but you wouldn't exactly expect to hear a whole lot of negative talk about your business on your own forum. I love O.S.E. and have ordered from them and plan to continue but I was just stating a fact there. As to H.K. I also order from them often but if you go to certain sites you'll find plenty of negative comments regarding them as well. Remember this. Bad news is like a virus, once it starts to spread it's near impossible to stop.

Another thing I like about Chris is I once asked him about all the bad press he's been getting and he never told me those guys are just a bunch of liars. When I mentioned a specific issue one guy had Chris never said anything negative about the guy with the issue to cover his posterior. If some of these guys talk to Chris the way they express themeselves here I can see where he might not feel so compelled to go the extra yard for them.

first thing about Steven IMO is he comes through every time!
we don't hear bad things about OSE because it seams that nothing bad happens to his customers...
this site is very open and if there is an issue people can express them selves if they want to.. Steven does not cover up crap

second would be its hard not to say anything to cover your ass when your totally wrong and many know about it!

Guys, If you read my last comment you might recall that I never said no one ever had any reason to complain. All I was saying is statements like " when I see him in hell" and "Chris Fine you suck !!!!!!" is taking it a bit too far. It's one thing to say I got stung by him so I'll never buy from him but to make statements like that is another. All I can say is until I've been stung by him as someone said, I have no reason to call him names. Even if all of these episodes are true I'd still rather hold the high ground. I have dealt with him my-self and one thing I can say for sure is one time I tried to get a hold of him for about a week and he wasn't there. When he got back from a well deserved vacation he called me back and answered my question. Understanding he doesn;t have lot's of employees working for him I have no problem with him not picking up the phone every time I call. Ever tried to call Hobby King at their U.S.A. warehouse? I do by the way buy from H.K. inspite of that. Some of you may have issues with Chris and that's fine. (No pun intended there) One thing that bothers me though is when we have a whole thread that seems to be dedicated to smearing one guy. I could be wrong here but maybe we should be talking about rc boats instead.

Sorry Eodman You are not one of the guys smearing Chris. You said both good and bad. Just wanted you to know my comments are not directed at you.

Guys I never started this thread to bash this guy - I only ordered once from him and he delivered a SV 27 as ordered and timely!

I grew up in the Middletown area, the store he was originally in was somewhat smaller than the store he has now. The old store had a lot of boats on the walls in racks, while the new location seems to be easily twice as large and the number of boats is noticably smaller than before! The biggest thing in the store were 2 very large slot car tracks!

As I stated I returned for a funeral and the gathering afterwards was held on the same street as his store is on so my son & I walked down!

If Chris is so genuine why don't you refund me my cash for the 2230 1Y and the cooling jacket and he will pay you back.You have the nerve to post that I am lying I have copies of the wire transfer I gave to the SCUMBAG and he never sent my motor and cooling jacket.
