      Also,
Not shore if it was done,Yet.
But sanding the bottom of the hull adds air bubbles and less drag to,
I used #400 wet sand paper, From the stern sand forward 8", Towards the bow.
      It works some.

Ran it yesterday with two new TP 10s 65c batteries. Melted both the batteries down. Motor and ESC heat were fine. That's too bad. Wonder why the batteries puffed and everything else was fine?

How many break-in cycles did you do with the packs before running them at full amp draw? ThunderPower recommends several cycles at 3C-5C prior to full power operation. What was the pack temperature when you taped up the hull? Cold packs and high amp draws equals damage.

Very true with the battery temperatures. I preheat my batteries EVERY time on run. Actually I have a timer that turns on the heater box at 5am in the morning and shuts off at 5:45 when I walk out the door. If it is really cold I then transfer to the car lighter and plug the heater box in on the way to the lake. Cold batteries, lipo's, ALWAYS run slower than warm Lipos. If its a cold time of year, try it, you will be pretty surprised!

10s in a Genisis should have very low amperage draw if it is setup properly.. Those packs, at their rating shouldnt have broken a sweat. Im guessing the setup is bad, or you ran the packs down too low.
