I have 2 LiPOs on order from HK but they are currently in back order status. I don't mind if it takes a a month as long as I get them. I buy from the DE warehouse as its closer to the Uk. I have never had a problem with HK as of yet. I like the fact that you can put costs of what you bought all the way down to 10% so it goes straight through customs. I would buy off other websites but only a few do this and I still find HK's prices unbeatable. I did contact customer services politely just to ask when is the arrival date of stock coming in. I will let you know if I get a reply.

My workmates has made a total of about 80 orders with HK over the past 12 months. Every single order has showed up. Of any the problems he has had, one or 2 lipo's (of dozens upon dozens) has been puffed, a motor or 2 has died straight away or an esc popped. Big f'ing deal! Your buying among the cheapest Rc parts on the planet, what do you expect? If your in a hurry for it, get it local, if you want it cheap, order and wait, if it never shows up lodge a refund with paypal, if it is defective, understand that by buying the cheapest components available, they have to cut costs somewhere, quality control is one of them!
I will continue to use them, in fact I ordered an eagle tree from them 3 weeks ago that hasn't shipped yet, haven't emailed them and have no intention of doing so for at least another 3 weeks. Just ordered 12 nano's from them, and if any are defective it will go in the bin and more ordered. Pretty simple formula guys, you get what you pay for, both in quality control AND service.

You must be right next door to them. 3 days? I order a lot from Hobbypartz. The average is one week and I think that's pretty good. Hobbypartz has good products and good prices but if you get a bad item, they make you jump through so many hoops to return it that it is not worth it sometimes.
The bottom line is: If you want to buy cheap, then you have to put up with some inconveniences, bad products, impossible return terms, etc. As a rule, I would rather buy whatever I can from OSE and pay more but get the best damned service in the world!
Order from hobbypartz and you will have your items usually in no more than 3 business days. No b.s ever. Have ordered 5 times in past two weeks. I'm in il and 4 out of 5 orders arrived in 2 business days. Great prices on lipos and other items. Totally satisfied with them. Ordered from hk twice and both orders got messed up. Lifes to f'n short to get aggravated by stupid inept customer service !! Fyi, my mystic loves their Gen ace 2s 5000 40c lipos. I ordered a total of 4 of those that cost me about $120 total shipped !! Thanks Hobbypartz ...Mini Cat Racing USA

I like hobbypartz better. I get my orders within 2-4 days, I really like my gens ace packs. Got some bad rx's from them but after i finally got ahold of them they had me send them in and i got them back in 5 days including the time it took me to ship to them. Customer service is decent, just use the chat online option, or sit on the phone waiting for 20-30 min.Comment

OK, here is my tip...
If you place an order and have it marked for LESS than it's actual value as they let you do. This causes a delay in which a human has to get involved with the proccess for customs etc...
I believe all undervalued shipments go into a waiting pile for a human to do some transaction that can't be done if you use the 100% actual price of goods.
Stinger9D9 mentioned this to me and since I have experimented and it works!
I used to have my shipments undervalued to avoid taxes coming into Canada but, it slows down the order.
So now I know if I want it quick, I use full 100% value and if it's not too expensive I don't pay any taxes or handling at the door.
Otherwise, If I order Lipo's or anything $100++ I don't hold my breath waiting because I undervalue them (as an option fom HK)Nortavlag Bulc

So heres a good one. Last Monday I ordered a charger from Hobbypartz. It only comes w/ one or two balance leads to help extend the batts further from the charger, so I wanted two or three more. I placed the Hobbypartz order, then jumped on Hobbyking as I know they have the boards Im looking for. I ordered them. Got the 2.99 shipping. They showed up today, exactly one week later. Do I have my Hobbypartz charger???? NO And before you ask, the parts from HK did come from Hong Kong, not the USA. This is the reason I never think twice if I must get something from them. 38 orders, not one issue and always fast shipping to FL. Funny that Hong Kong shipping is faster than USA. And I paid A LOT more for shipping of the charger w/ in the USA. Kicking myself for not just purchasing the charger from HK as well.

I had a bad weekend because I could not get my HK Bluebird 1/4 scale servo to work. It worked on the bench several times over the last 6 months but, all of a sudden it starts going whacky and then DEAD.
Oh well, can't expect much with a $22 1/5 scale servo but, one use would have been nice.
So, I could have ordered or picked up a Hitec servo of same said size for $80-$90 at the grand opening of Great Hobbies in Mississauga.
They had a sale of no tax but, I said no thanks... going to try HK one more time but, a different servo this time, the 8166.
If it craps out I'll send both back with a nasty letter... I guess that'll make me feel better...
Chis K. runs the same Bluebird 530 ina big mono and it's fine ?? Only the second servo to go that I got from them, the other was a standard servo, cheap, $10...
If this one craps out I'm going back to Futaba. Sure, I'll need to get a loan, but, I can depend on it.
Of course I have a box of Hi-Tech servos that were not much better. Those 645MG's break allot...Nortavlag Bulc
