Hello,
i am relativly new to rc boating so please forgive me if i ask a common or silly question.
I purchased a bby ss hydro from Randy a few months back and now that its winter here in Australia i would like to get a start on it for next summer.
I have no idea what kv motor or prop to start with.
i would like to run it on 11.1 as i allread have several packs, and i was given a 70a speed control (not sure what brand but im sure it is only a cheap one).
I am not going to race this boat as last time i went to my local club a guy told me i could shove my electric - well you know where!
any tips or addvice will be much aperciated.

with Meniscus and I would start with the 37 mm prop as you said you are relatively new to r/c boating. At 50 mph the bank and other obstacles come up real quick when you are driving. Move up to the bigger prop when you feel comfortable to do so. That X637 prop will be a good one to put away in your prop box, as if you stay in the hobby it will get further use on other boats.
