Aeromarine sprint cat 42" twin 1717's????

I have a few 1717's that need homes and I like the idea of a cat as my next boat. I'm wondering if the Areomarine 42" sprint cat http://www.aeromarinerc.com/index.ph...mart&Itemid=53 would be a good marrige to a pair of 1717's on t180's on 6s2p per side. Could anyone give me any guidence on this thought, eg. hardware to suit that set up or any other cats that'll have plenty of room for my electronics set up? I've seen rearwhellin's conquest and fell in love with the idea although I like the shape of the sprint cat more. Any and all advice would be appreciated

What are your goals for the boat? Sport boat, racing, SAW?

The sprintcat you mentioned would be a perfect choice. I have pondered that exact build myself.

Bill, has a 60" Cat with twin 1717's, he reaches 60 mph with a good running setup. He runs on 6s2p, but with the size of your boat you may not need 2p if you go with 40c 5000's+. Bill's forum handle is Bill34207 if you want to see his builds.
NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

thanks guy's, I'll get busy in the morning and get the ball rolling.
It'll only be a sport boat but I want to be a good sport and make it rock.
Now it's a toss up between the 42" sprint cat and the Mk11, I think I might try to sleep on it. Please keep the suggestions comming along with any helpful advise that'll help me along.

The "90" Sprint Cat, as we used to call them in the nitro days, was always my favorite cat boat. One of my empty hulls still hangs in my garage. Please keep us up to date and good luck with the build!
