Changing prop pitch?

are you trying to go from a composite to a metal prop?

Just want to know how to do it.
i have bought props that have been pitched up and the results are amazing.
Just interested in knowing what it entails.Not saying i'm going to try...lol

ok first what props did you buy and for what.

that will help me determine what you might need and what your talking about.

ok,i bought an ABC H5 that was pitched up 2.81"(cob)
I have no clue what that means.

abc means alumiun brass copper 2.81" doesn't mean pitch thats the diameter of the prop

a prop has a size thats measured like this 42X59mm and that size is converted into inches to be something like 1.4 X 1.8 or something thats times together to get the acutal prop dia.

This is what it says on the specs i was sent with the prop
3.75" (T.E) cup
2.81 (C.O.B) pitch
45.67mm diameter

A stock H5 is 45mm in diameter and the pitch is 2.70"
Some how the diameter is increased when pitched up.

i'm not looking to attempt pitching.Just want to know how its done.
