In a DF41 copy, A Feigao 580 may work, but not a xl. JMHO, That xl would work better in the 32" boat but even then I would role with a bigger motor. I have the second boat you listed I bought it from Kintecracing called the Pursuit and I run a leopard motor.

    Anyone think a cc/neu 1518 1800kv would work in a DF41 copy?

I would go with a Leopard 5692 1090kv on 8s for a budget setup or Neu 2215 1.5Y on 9s if you have a little more money to play with. I guess it depends how fast of a boat you want. My 40" mono with 2215 went 60's on 9s with a x452 and 70's on 10s with s240 (10s was short runs, not a sport setup).

I think the Leopard on 8s would put you there.

O man looks like jan has the white hulls now with a seaking 120 sweet. Get rid of that crap xl motor and stick a leopard in it and call it good. You may even get buy with a ammo 36-88, I leopard would rock though. I just got that hull a few weeks ago from Jan awesome, havent ran it yet though, http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ad.php?t=16686
