Best set-up for a Pursuit Mono

Looking to purchase a Pursuit mono possible tomorrow. Need a little help on power selection. I have a brand new 11xl with a turnigy 80amp hv that i wanted to run on 6s. Best not sure i like that set-up. Any suggestions? I was thinking of changing to a maybe a Leopard 4060 1500kv, Leopard 4065 1400kv or a leopard 4074 2200kv with a seaking 180. Keep in mind I really don't have cc/neu money at this point. Ima baller on a budget. lol

    I have Pursuit mono.

    Currently run it on 4s, Leopard 4074 2200kv with a Seaking 120. Tried x440, x640, x442 and x445. Runs well with x442 and better with x445.

Thanks so much. I have a leopard 4074, will a seaking 180 fit in the hull? I have a m445 and x642. Maybe 1 of those will work.

        yes, enough space for 180.
I'd try m445 1st, seems x6 series of props drain battery faster. I get butter runtime on x442 then on x640... and more fun :)

Most likely that one, but Kintec has it for $290.
Head of the River has it for $270.

Personally, I'd order it from Jan at Kintecracing.com. Sure, it's a few $ more, but it's got a 540XL sized motor and is in stock, whereas the Pursuit from HK is backordered and has a 540L.

I ALWAYS try to order as much as I can from Jan or Steve, personnel preference. Those guys have great business's and are great to deal with. I email Jan a few times a month just to BS and he always responds and answer my questions reguardless how stupid my questions they may be. Certain people I try to support no matter what reguardless of cost, and OSE & Kintec are 2 of them!

I suggest ordering these from someone close. They all have some sort of problem.
Out of the 3 monos I have. All had some sort of issue. Nothing that couldn't be worked out, but some things may not be acceptable. Like spider-ed paint I found on one the other day.

I have one of these in white, very nice hull & hardware. I lost the 1620kv & the ESC & have put in a 180 seaking & the Turnigy 500 typhoon outrunner, this is a 6 pole motor & has a good amount of torque & will be using a x445 to start with.

Yet to hit the water with it, but will be doing so this weekend.

My mate has one with a KB45 1600 kv on 5s with a Turnigy 180, She flies.. A bit loose but for the price very good. Look into strenghtening the motor mount, battery tray and stuffing tube as they usualy come weak or loose.
                              One just isn't enough...
