    Good point

Just got the red cooling tubing in and a nice leopard cooling jacket from ebay. I don't think I will be using the motor mount cooling system. Doesn't make that big of a difference anyway. The jacket I have seems really nice, hopefully it works as well as it looks.

Ok so we got everything pretty much finished up. She should be ready for the water this weekend. Gonna go with 2 4s 3600mah 30c packs in parallel. The red cooling hose really set's off the whole boat. Was worth the 3 day wait.

No here's the problem I ran into. With the new cooling jacket the aft ring support would not align with the mount. The jacket pushes the ring holes to far back, I thought about elongating the existing holes on the mount, but their is not much room to do so. If I go any further aft with the holes their doesn't leave much material left and the mount may crack at that point. I came up with a quick fix that may actually work. I just zip-tied the motor in the back so that the motor has something to rest on. It may actually work or not. I will find out soon enough.

No vid yet, still no maiden voyage yet. No chance today, between the football games (Steelers lost ) and then it started raining. Hopefully soon though.

Shouldn't the cooling jacket nipple be facing straight up before it goes into the cooled mount? If not, the top of the motor is not going to get cooled. Also looks like the jacket may not rotate enough before the other nipple hits the side of the mount.

I see your point, but I have run other set-ups without the jacket nipple at the top position and have not had any cooling issues with those set-ups, so I do not think that would be an issue. As far as the other nipple (furthest away or top nipple) its the angle of the picture. Their is the same amount of distance between the nipples and motor mount of both nipples, that pic is a bad angle though.

OK got the boat in the water today, but conditions were not in my favor. Their was a serious amount of chop in the water and a VERY strong wind. Put the MG in the water and barely hit full throttle before it flipped, stuck the pursuit and flipped it pretty quick breaking the servo mount loose from the hull. Apparently I didn't add enough CA glue lol. I will reinforce the mount and try again tomorrow, this time I use epoxy. Boat def has a LOT of potential. The lake is almost 3 feet low and I ran aground with the MG breaking the shear pin in the rudder. Shear pin worked as designed, broke and kicked the rudder up so no damage would be done.
