    Miss Vegas Deuce

Does anyone have any step by step instructions on converting a Miss Vegas to electric? I have searched the threads, but no one has posted how to complete this conversion step by step.

I'm new to boats and about to the end of my rope with nitro motors. I have no idea what motor mount to use, motor to use, batteries etc to convert to electric.

    Thanks for any help!!!!

If you need any help you can PM me I've done a few conversions on that hull. hardest Part is sealing it all up which isn't really even hard just takes a little time.

Thank you guys for the link and help. I'm not looking for rocket speeds out of this boat. Would buying the UL-1 electronics and motor work in the vegas hull? also, how much run time can I expect out of batteries? Like I said I'm new to the FE world and have a ton of questions.

I would not get the UL-1 stuff myself for that hull. It'll work but I think for nearly the same money you could get something that would work better.

Maybe a Leopard 2200 and Hydra 240? Not sure if a seaking 120 can handle a leopard and a 180 maybe too big. A Swordfish 240 or Ice 200 may work also. The size of that hull might not work so well with a ul-1 motor. At 30+" that leopard 4074 maybe just what you need.

I'd get the 2000kv Leopard and Seaking 180. The 2200 would be fine on the Seaking 180 too but it would prob run a bit hot on that hull. I sent you a PM with what's needed for the conversion.

I've never seen the hull in person wasn't sure if a 180 would fit, but glad to know it does. I love those esc's.

Yea they fit pretty good. There is a lot of room in the Vegas.

The Deuce version of the Vegas hull has more AoA than the earlier version to provide more top speed with the smaller .19 nitro motor which replaced the .21 motor on the originals. For a budget build the 1500 KV BJ motor with something like an Oct X442 could be a nice combo. The AQ UL-1 motor might be a little to weak for the 30" hull & the BJ really pumps out the torque needed - A Turnigy 180 would be a good reasonably priced speed control choice which would allow for more motor in the future. I've run the BJ motor [with a UL-1 SC] and Turnigy 4S 3600's in parallel in my 29" Titan rigged for LSO & ran 4 1/2 minute heats. Just a thought....

Not to hijack the thread Tony, but how watertight is the boat?

I've only rescued it while upside down a few times & there was maybe one or two tablespoons of water inside. I double-tape the front of the cowl at the right-angle hull-cowl joint; the only questionable sealing area. BTW, great news at the Doctor's

I just picked up a Miss Vegas Deuce thats already been converted to brushless from the swap shop. I'm thinking about throwing an 1800kv and a 150a ESC in it on 4S. I'll post some pics once it arrives.
