Well...she finally got in the water...

    90A Seaking ESC
    BJ26 1500KV motor
    2 X 2S 20C 5000MAH
    x642 prop

It was ok...just shy of 40mph.

Boatman, who I bought this from here at OSE had it setup perfectly I can pull full WOT turns without any wavering at all (unlike my BJ26...but that's another story)

And properchopper...your right, there's really no room for 6S...

Will try 1800KV Typhoon outrunner...if it can get here before the lakes freeze over

Glad you got 'er running! You might try two 3S packs in series with a smaller prop. The Seaking is "supposed" to handle 6S and some guys here have run the BJ 1500 on 6S but NO built-in BEC and watch temps !!

Thanks for the tips...the lakes are about to freeze over, so I think the next change I'll try is just to swap out the prop from the x642 to a larger Graupner CF45 similar to the Octura m545.

I WISH I had started into this hobby earlier in the summer ....

it'll be snowboarding and indoor helis for me soon
