The sounds precisely like a leak in the cooling system. Either a split in a line, bad o'rings on the motor, etc.

I always use denatured alcohol. Nothing else. It has been happening on all my boats. Just for grins I'm gonna go to wally world and get some of that clear (sort of) electrical tape in the automotive department.

Here's a thought. On the inside of your boat, temporarily glue or carefully tape partitions to section off the hull into about five sections. Run the boat briefly, maybe two minutes at the outside. Don't do any quick turns.

Bring it back and you'll find water in some (or only one) of the secrtions. That's where your water is coming from.

It's weird isn't it. My old proboat elam used to take in that much water every time. No idea where it was coming in. Used to drive me nuts lol

why not try adding extra tape on the hatch to seal the corners, can you seal around the motor mount with some silicone or something? Does the hull have a small crack around the motor mount or rudder?

Heck why not just run the hull under pressure that should keep water out!

Thanks everyone! I found the leak. When I built the boat the tub and rear sponsons were built seperately and glued together. There was a hair line crack on the bottom corner of the boat IN BETWEEN the tub and rear sponson! That's why I couldn't find it, it was hidden. The air must have been pressing the hair line crack against the rear sponson, sealing it. And why I take on water while running.
