Yeah, I really need to get some. Working on a way to conveniently do the recording myself and have it turn out well. Think I'll try the tri-pod next.

    Rainy day today.

Managed to get a run in while running some errands... Ran it to the LVC at 6 minutes and 34 seconds. Top speed 43.5mph.

Using two 3s 5000mah 25c packs in series. They are old and abused Blue Lipo packs too. They were hot and puffed a bit at the end of the run...

I'm pleasantly surprised with how well this hull handles. I'm actually starting to enjoy it. =)

Yeah, that is quite a bit of run time and heat. I think it would do better with 2p for that kind of run time.

You will still have the heat in the motor and esc with 2p and prob more cause of the extra weight,

Yep. Right now the ESC and motor are doing well. The ESC is surprisingly cool at the end of the run.

It's about 120 - 130 after 6 minutes. Quite surprisingly the ESC is less.

Good question. It is off of the tail of the motor behind the cooling can. The end bell is a little warmer. 135-ish, sometimes as high as 140.

                        OK, she's wired up with 4 3s 3k 30c packs in S/P (6s2p 30c 6k)

                        We'll see how it goes!

Motor temp went up, speed went up as well. 43.5mph, motor temp was 140ish on the end bell.

I'm really not sure the motor can handle any more prop.

I might try another motor... Like a Typhoon 500. Would be a good comparison.

Overall, not bad for a cheapie.

Typhoon 500 = too small. May try a Typhoon 600, but going to have to research the watt ratings on the KD3674 vs. the 600.

I added a cap to the ESC; 4700uF 30VDC compliments of Nichicon.
