For this kind of money I should not have to rebuild my PC to use there ESC.
I know what your saying though and it would be thoughtfull of Schulze to put the requirements/compatibility in there directions .
Has anyone heard from Schulze regarding this problem ?

Doesn't sound like much success thus far.

We did get a reply from Schulz with directions on installing the software.
We haven't gotten the software to work yet ?
We did get another email from them after explaining our problem, they said not to change the timing or other stuff as the "auto mode" would set it all correctly.
They also ask us to send them the data from the ESC . LOL we wish..........
Hopefully this will get sorted out soon?

I wish I could believe that the 'auto' function will set things in our best interests for all applications, but this is just not the case.

Did their instructions for installing their software differ any from their website?

                  schultz setup

                  Hello..

I agree with Reesor....It would be awesome just the plug an play operation, but that´s not current true.....
Me, and i bet, most of you, would prefer to manually input motor data, like timing, switching frequency and number of pols from motor, and having a speed controller that really works, with all motors, instead of having a all auto speed controller, that almost doesn´t work with anything.....

                  Just mine.02 cents

For my Scorpion 4035-800 I set the timing to 9 degrees and frequency to 8Kz. That cooled the motorl quite a bit, runninng 8s with a Graup K57.

                      Guys,

Took some screen shots with my 40.160 hooked up through future-soft. See if you have any differences.

                        switching frequency

Hello Tharmer, thanks for your input!

I always had the feeling that the problem was switching frequency in the case of the scorpion 4035/800 heating so much....But unfortunately the schulze defines automatically the switching frequency, and i can´t change it, even trough the pc software!
I think that´s why the YGE200 drived the motor with a lot less heat, but i´m limited beacause of the automatic setting of the switching frequency

                        Tyler

As attachement follows the lad file with the Leopard motor and schulze for 30 seconds.....
I just don´t know why does the MGM compro drives the leopard motor flawlessly, and schulze don´t!?!?And why drives the motor correctly without stuttring until 1/2 throttle, and after that it stars stutering!

                        Regards...

P.S Schulze should pay us for discovering and trying to solve their speed controllers issues....Engineering development and project research is the most expensive part of it....

                          Thanks Tyler.

I get the first screen but in the left window all I get is giberish. I will try and get a screen shot up next week...busy all weekend.

Q: does it make any difference what positions the dip switches are in when you first connect the USB?

Q: has anyone purchased the 'package' in the attached image with the software already loaded as opposed to downloading it?

                            Gerado,

I'll take a look when I get a free minute.

                            Steve,

It does not seem to make a difference where the dip switches are on connection or when making changes. I can leave the dip switches at 1,1,0,1,0,0,0 and the programming still works. I just mention that becuase that is what the directions say at the bottom.

BTW, i just bought the adapter and downloaded the software and supplied my own cable.

We are still not having any luck with this ........ thing.
It all looks good untill time to hook the ESC and batt. up, we get nothing and the program still is asking for it ?

My only guess at this point is that it is a driver issue for you and Steve. Gerado and myself can both connect OK with similar controllers and software.
