What's a cool use of a 3rd channel in an electric build?

I used the third channel for the canard wing on an 1/8 scale about 5 years ago. The boat never ran very well so I didn't get to experiment with it at all.

Ernie Lafluer (sp) run nitro and has been using 3rd and what ever amount of channels he needs for years. In his tunnels he can adjust the angle of the drive and length of pipe and gosh knows what else...prob wing adjusters too. Plus the normal fuel mix stuff that nitro guys need. To see him race is like watching a heli pilot at work.

Hopefully the momentum and emptying ballast tank will right the hull and send you on your way.

Still in the brainstorming phase right now, but it sounds feasible. I have studied the triton and other flood chamber monos for inspiration, but I totally have to guess on the ballast tank size. I am thinking like 1/5 - 1/4 the total interior space needs to be for ballast, and all one side of the boat. I am thinking a nice narrow mono will work best for the project.
        Great idea! Very innovative.
