Steve maybe it wasnt directed toward me but if it were it would have made me feel kinda dumb. I just dont want anyone to get heated about this. Were all pals rite?
Will a kb45 17xl work in an eighth scale boat?

You have to factor cheap and reliable. Personally I rather spend a couple of dollars more and enjoy a Sunday off, instead of going home upset.
A good outrunner in a heavy boat is going to last a long time. The neu 1900 series is also a good choice. Contact Andrew at fastelectrics. He has experience with those.Steven Vaccaro

I wish you could supply me with a HV 200 amp speed control under 200 dollars. The profit margin on these things is rediculous. The microcontrollers only cost a few dollars. A shultze that runs a hybrid car yeah I can understand 600 dollars look at the liability there u need redundancy, but a boat speed control $600? thats rediculous in my opinion. We can do better than that. Well at least I can. Ill make my own esc for 600 dollars and it will power the world.LOL!Last edited by Xfactor; 03-28-2010, 12:50 PM. Why hasnt novak and tekin got more involved in this stuff? Novak made brushed stuff years ago (mc510) that would handle burst current of over a 1000 amps at 7.2 volts and they never needed that much.We need to put pressure on the us companies to compete for manufacturing. It up to us to create demand for USA products. For that reason alone im going to buy a screamer even if I dont use it to pay hommage to my fellow citizens. Were losing and we got to do better.Comment

Excerpt from: uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/HowToDividebyZero
Some have theorized that a successful division by zero would lead to the creation of a new universe, which would annihilate the present universe. However, this may not be as problematic as it sounds, as the current universe is basically *S*H*I*T*E* and the new one is likely to have free beer.
The Windows calculator bundled with Windows Vista is said to be able to divide a number by zero, but no one has been able to get past the billions and billions of warning prompts. Actually, they haven't even been able to get past the billions and billions of warning prompts required to open the calculator in the first place.

Thread? It's mostly a diatribe by a newbie/troll - 2/3rds of the posts are by the OP, he repeatedly strung 3 posts together without even getting a reply. Since he clearly wants to be confrontational here, perhaps he should go to his "expert" nitro buddy in OK for all his future FE information. Clearly he knows a lot more about motors than we FE folks do.
Hey, maybe you can even use some car stereo components to build it. Engineering student indeed...ya got a lot to learn buckwheat.
