Secondly I don't see anything wrong with what they are doing. Sure they are tossing in all kinds of fancy words and they don't seem to know much, BUT its up to us as consumers to make a valued choice on how we want to spend our hard earned money. Anyone that goes out and drops $500 without doing some research is just rich(doesn't care) or should be ashamed for doing so.
I agree with that. I was curious about these boats a little while ago and was and still is pretty new to rc's and I researched and asked brushless55 about these boats and he steered me clear. If I wouldn't have been a member of this site I probably would have purchased one not knowing. I'm not rich by any means I was just ignorant to the facts. Thanks again Brushless!!!!

Since you researched, you were not ignorant, just new to the hobby. Pat yourself on the back for researching before breaking out the creditcard.

Vantex looks like just one more of hundreds of Chinese brokers trying to make a buck. I see boats from about three different manufacturers on their site.

I live an hour from them (Gfreak). Im going to try and go over there next week and scope out the scams.

Salir, you get a lot of quality boats manufactured in China. Why dont you see if you can locate and get these hulls empty. They are a great, great hull. I will bring mine to one of the upcoming meets a Ackerman so you can see it.

Yeah, the lying part is the most dissappointing part.

If your going to distrubute a RTR or ARTR, at least fess up, say you get the hull from overseas, and thre are things you are changing on it (ie hardwr etc.) to make it a more user friendly and a better boat.

But I guess to people who only see the $$$ thats too hard to do.

Scott, there is an incredibly limited market believe it or not. I stay with what I know I can consistently sell. It's a business model that has served me well. For one person that wants just a hull, there are ten that want them RTR. Hard to figure for sure. But please bring the hull to our next meet!

iam fairly sure there ebay site says 2-3 week delivery time so not sure how you would go opening a paypal dispute just yet.
they say the delivery time is because they have build each one and test it
but its fairly obvious they need 3 weeks as its ordered from china.
after seeing there video on charging lipos i dont think these guys between them would have the skills to put a sticker on a boat yet alone mount hardware

When an item is listed on ebay, the seller’s required to state under ( Shipping Terms: ) when the item will ship after payment is received. If they don’t ship by that time, a buyer might be able to request ebay to intervene. You’d have to contact ebay to find out for sure though, as I’ve never filed a grievance against a seller.

not defending them but they clearly say 2-3 weeks shipping time.
i have never filed a dispute with paypal but iam fairly sure if the seller says 2-3 weeks you would have to wait 3 weeks before you could file a dispute.
noticed there return policy is 3 days wtf

The "GFreak Funny Hour" staring the OSE Forum.

Salir, I can live with that. So I will rephrase. Maybe see what you can find about the hull/ Hull hrdwr and RTR? It really is a nice hull without crazy characteristics... well, once you remove the micro rudder off of it. (Same blue one you sell as the mini rudder)

I was hoping to get to the Hobby shop last week but it didnt happen. Im going to ask hiim what he can find out as well as it is where I got mine. At the time, he said he thought he could only get them as RTR.

I would think that he would keep at least one boat in inventory. It must take 3 weeks to install their stage 3 cooling.
