I am just curious what props you guys are running on your Sport 21 Whiplash hulls. I normally run X series 445 and 645 props with great speed but lower run times. My bud recently gave me a 14 series 1445 to try and this prop really seemed to be the ticket. THe boat is fast and will run about a minute longer with lower temps on the ESC and motor. The cells come out of the water between 120*- 130* but that isn't bad considering I am running 1p in my hull. I am def going to try the ABC H series props next season. The only thing about the prop is I am getting a little hop in the turns but I am going to try to tweak the prop and see if that goes away.

I like the m646,m447 and m648.
I run 4s1p 6500 35c hyperion packs, 1521 1.5d, hydra 240. Yesterday I ran a m447 full mill lap, plus 6laps on a 1/6 mile, plus an impromptu race against Disrtrict 20 director Robert Holland's UL1. I pulled 3463mah out of the packs according to my charger, temps were 93 packs 87 esc 104 motor no water cooling on motor.
I also ran this set up at the MCX 10 Nats.Comment

Nice setup Jeepers.
I have both the 1515 1Y and a 1521 1.5D. I wasn't sure about the 1.5d but, with your numbers, I like it. I will setup hull so I can hopefully switch the 2 motors out with proper cg still.
Where is your CG and how is that turn fin?Nortavlag Bulc

My CG is all over the place! Its about 1 3/4 from the back of the sponson right now... Sunday I ran it in massive chop (right after gas mono and cats ran) plus high wind, every time it left the water it flew perfectly level, I wasnt afraid to run her wide open. the turn fin is one of Fullers stainless fins(the $49 one) that I cut down, this boat corners flat and on rails. I love this Whiplash!
I wish I had built mine to swap to different size motors but the motor mounts are screwed and glued to G10 fiber glass and then fiberglassed and epoxyed to the bottom of the hull. 1521 is the only thing that fits in the mounts.Comment

Scott, I have one of those 1614/3 bladers on the way from CDMI to try out. I always said a 3 blade 42mm would be the ticket in this hull. The 440/3 works pretty well but just a tad slow on the back straights.Team Liquid DashComment

I received my 1614/3 today from CDMI. They did a real nice job on the prop and I can't wait to try it out tomorrow.
Check out some vid of out Whips running last weekend, I am hoping the 3 blade ABC prop smooths out my hull but keeps the speed.
