thats a good idea on the ride pads thats easily duplicated.......
I could epoxy a strip of 3mm or 4mm carbon in the inside of he ride pads, then cut a slot down the two last pads....be a worth while experiment on a cheap fiberglass hull.......32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

I should be getting in the "new" extreme Castle 2028 in a few days. I am going to put it in a 48" mono. I might start a build thread for that one to show the progress. I have the older version of the 2028 in my Backlash Hydro and it's a great motor! Tried running it on 8s for awhile but was having trouble keeping the ESC from over heating with all the amps, but then tried 10s and the motor really started to perform with that set up. My ESC data is showing that I am running up to 29k in rpm's which is right at the 30k max listed on the old motor with no problems at all. The new Castle 2028 is rated at 45k rpm's and that should give some more head room since I will be running it 10s as well. I do see that it is now rated for 12s also hmmm.Comment
