I was just asked to remove my coupon code from my signature. Obviously there are some haters and cry babies among us. Not sure what the Revo hate is about, but it's pretty sad. I was told it was some vendors complaining. I was just to help my fellow members out that were going to order some. It was only 10% off, not like it was half off and killing other people's business.

Hmmm hasn't it. I wonder of the complainers would like to front up? Maybe they don't realize or accept that not all of us have open cheque books to use on our hobby and we appreciate being able to spend on a small budget but still be able to race competitively.

Lot's of helpful information on OSE of how to race on a friendly budget
in fact others post codes and coupons to cheaper prices all over OSE, but REVO packs are excluded???
makes no sense at all, and seems kinda rude IMO

Travis posting a coupon here or there in thread isnt a big problem. The problem comes when posting/spamming it all over the place OR in your case posting in a signature. There are lots of guys on the OSE forum that sell things and dont advertise their products. I dont want OSE to get littered with dealers advertising.

10% of 100,000 is 10 grand. It was in you signiture for a while. If a sale doesnt have a time period then it nassi cf ally becomes the expected retail price. Who wants to be in business for 20-30% profit, pretty rough unless you have other high margin items.

I'm not a dealer, nor do I sell them. I simply had some back and forth emailing with the owner of Revo and truthfully explained to him that I was a poor guy trying to buy the best quality batteries I can. I asked him if he could discount an order for me if I ordered a few. He ended up giving me a coupon code and told me I could give it out to my friends or whoever wanted it. I consider most everyone here a friend so I put it in my signature, to save my fellow members some dough. It actually expired at the end of the year and I asked him if he could extend the expiration, which he did. I'm not into stepping on anyone's toes but I feel there is a sort of hate toward Revo batteries but mainly from the people "officially" Affiliated with The site. But hey boss, it's your show, so whatever you want. In my opinion, I think you should just start selling them instead of blocking them. They truly are good batteries and are getting a lot of attention because of that...I think it would be helpful to your profit margin.

yes there is no need to deleted coupons. the problem comes if someone decides to post coupons constantly. thats spam in my opinion.
