          I'm not exactly sure as it wasn't my prop. It was Jeff Cirves'. Just from looking at it I could see that pitch was added, but I don't know how much. It clearly wasn't stock though.

              Hi Again, can anyone please tell me at what height are they running their struts at? are they at the neutral angle or slightly positive?

                I'm running the centerline of the strut parallel to the bottom of the sponson. Start out with ZERO angle. Use an M445 prop if running spec.

                  So about 1/2-3/4 inch to the centreline of the strut ????/

                  M445, is this slightly overpropped ? i was thinking more a X442 or a Grim 42-55 , i know everyone has their own favourites here .
                  the 'M' in front of the numbers means Modified right??

                    Mine is slightly different, since I modded the sponsons to be 1/8" deeper I run it flat with the sponsons, at about 3/4" deep.

                      M means it is de-tongued. (the tongue is the very beginning of the leading edge) The motor will spin it more easily than a x445.

                        The M445 will NOT overprop the boat if you run the strut correctly. All of us here are running that prop on our Whiplash's
