    gonna order the new lipos this week,, and the x447 prop tonight, hopefully that's all i need to get it up and running decent,, ill let you know how it goes when i get the parts and have a good day to test it out.. thank you for all your input, much appreciated.flraptor07

      You may find after testing that a prop as large in diameter as a 447 may create port sponson lift due to torque reaction - if so a smaller diameter prop like a Grimracer 42/55 may be the ticket. A few less mph but smoother ride.

        mines the u-18 , watching your video, that is amazing , fast and stable. i didn't get a chance to order the prop or batteries yet,, hoping to tonight,,atleast the prop anyways.. with 2x 5000 4s 40c or higher c rating in parallel and either the 447 or the grim racer prop.. any idea on speeds once i get it actually going correctly, and should the cg be aprox 1 1/2 inches behind the sponsons?

          or would 2x 3s lipos be better in parallel, so i could do series eventually and run 6s?

            double check the dimensions for the batteries you end up ordering, not sure 4s 5000s will fit.
