no video as i mostly run by myself, have a screw on type collet coupler that i will try again. think it was a combination of rough water and me taking to much of the flex causing it to fail
will try next weekend back on flat water see how it goes.
the motor has more than enough balls to get it running as it was real close last week just needed a bigger prop. should have ran back in the small pond.
good news is the hull was turning at full speed in rough water and never looked like going over

sounds good that these cats like the rough water, its almost that way every week where we run.
Reckon too that motor is easily the man for the job here.
      keep us posted..

          I'll try 4S 10000mah first then some 5S 6000mah if alls well.
Only got 2 bladers to try ,but it will be ok for trials.

i sold the boat last weekend, i was hoping for a bit more than i was getting from my setup, it was running fairly well especially in rougher water, still had a slight tendency to porpoise a little, i just wanted a bit more speed as its turning capabilities are fantastic.

Took the cat tonite for its first run with the new setup.
Didnt like 4S 10000mah pack, too heavy a setup.Stuff came back very hot,the hull sat too deep in the water. This hull is heavy
swapped for 5S 6000mah,a good 400grams lighter and reduced prop to a X442,ran well for first run,cog needs a bit of adjustment and strut maybe a touch higher too.It was going dark after a few packs so didnt have time to mess much.
Stuff came back much cooler with 5S and a smaller prop.Even after loosing watercooling for the last 2.1/2 mins!!!
