float test turns to shakedown
Hey guys, I must say thank you to all who have participated in this build, provided input and encouragement as well as all who have followed.
I took her out this afternoon to do a "float test" and since she passed the test, I decided it was time for the shakedown test. I wouldn't call this the maiden voyage yet cause she didn't really go very far. She did prove her prowess and I am amazed at the success of this shakedown.
I tooled around for maybe a minute or so and after I brought her in and opened her up, motors were 85 F, ESCs 115F, batts 110 F. I ran on 4S1P each motor with 4800 mah and 25C. I used up maybe 15% of the juice. Egnegs X442s props, Jeff's drives and couplers, Peter's mounts, and the near donation of the hull from Camel have really come together into a fine piece of art - that will haul balls and keep them on the wall!!!
Here are some quick shots (forgot to change light setting so they are blue) and a short vid.... bet you can't wait for more???
Tomorrow baby!!
