Tomorrow!! Im gonna get my batteries real nice and hot in the oven (just kidding).. Ill warm them up 10 more degrees and see if it will give me some increase in speed. Also the props that ill use havent seen water yet , so thet could work better than the initial set i hit 66.7 mph w/..ill foresure post something tomorrow along w/ pics of the props for you guys!Comment

well ran her this morni'n' and chanced it with one of the shafts i soldered sense the one ed hughey did fleww out yesterday.. and you guessed it ... lost another. (axspensive weekend) . she ran .8 mph clower and the batteries were preheated to 120 deg. i dont get it?? ill send out the two remaining shafts to ed and try this again.. dont really have a choice, got to do this!!ill get another set or at least a r/ hand to match the lost one..im down loading the vid. and will post asap.heres the pics requested:Comment

well so far it was two solder joints that failed both i did and the other ed hughey soldered slipped from the coupler due to not being tight eneph. and youd think id have learned by now!!Comment

Ever since I went to the red permanant loctite, I have not had a single drive fail. I have busted some wires, but unrelated to joining wire to stub. I would bet if you went to the loctite and threw out all that solder crap, you would be a happier boater.

IM SORRY TO YOU AND ALL THE WORK YOU PUT INTO THE PROP! WICH BRINGS ME TO THIS. I WAS THINKING IF YOU TOOK THE X442'S DETOUNGED THEM AND ADDED JUST A LITTLE PITCH TO THEM IM THINKING THAT MIGHT BE THE KEY.. WHAT DO YOU THINK? see andi did the same thing but they were 447's to begin with and the hubs are bigger ..( he also back cut them).. i like the smaller hubs as its less mass to spin .Comment

Yep! I'm using the 603 Loctite too and have never had a shaft come loose! The beauty of it is how easy it is!
