GREAT job! hey what struts are those? I am looking to set up a twin cat and I really like those bad boys.

Keep in mind, I don't recommend the cross grain technique on the top deck due to the complex curves. But yes vertical on the sides.

    Very nice work!

Don't mean to cut in here, but I'm more FE Hydros and don't really care about mono's. Where can I get the plans for this hull ? I think back last year I talked about it and someone threw me a PDF of one. Not sure this was it or not.

Did you not like the ones you got? If you pm me your email, I can send you the ones Norman is following. Why didn't you build that one?

I lost the file in a hard drive crash back in October. Really didn't have the time with 3 Hydro's on the bench. Ready to get going again. Email is [email protected]

          Would really appreciate it...

The struts are the 4mm ones from Etti and the rudder is a Graupner unit. Yes they are beautifull.

I got hold of thicker 1,5mm balsa for the deck to prevent any cross grain laminating there... I am still looking for a light woven glassfibre mat locally. Silkspan is not available here and importing it would be too expensive.

I finished the cross-grain laminating on the sides and sealed the interior with another layer of resin and cut the flotation pieces. Now I'll start the deck and lid, eventually! I'll post pics tomorrow...

                          Hi Jesse and lomodel,
Attached some photos of final interior. Crowded but that is all I could do.
If there is a next one it will be re-designed to make more interior space.
Tomorrow it goes in the water if weather permits. Regards,
                          Norman
