HiModel 200A is good choice if you can waterproof it and add watercooling.
Seakings are good, but recently there has ben some shorting issues in 180A model if I remember correctly., -just search himodel and seaking on these forums, lots of info!
oh, and I have 29 delta copy, sv27 motor and esc, 4s ,s220 prop gives 40mph.

if your not going to race 100A is enough, that's what I have on mine with 8XL and I have tried up to 43.5mm carbon prop without problem, 200A himodel is certainly better, Seaking hummmm... wait and see, there's been a factory recall!!!Comment

) and found it very stable, turning is good at WOT. I'll try posting a video of this run some time today.
I noticed you said 5min run time and things are getting hot. First where is your cg set at and strut height? Also 5 min is a long time for 4900's 20c and you might be pushing the Lipos close to the 3v/cell which will cause alot of heat buildup fast. Try some shorter runs and take some temp readings. Not sure what speeds you want to hit but remember the faster you want to go the faster things multiply as in temp, amps, heat.
Keep us posted, there are alot of very knowledgeable guys on this forum that can help.

Hi David, I attached the data of my eagle tree reading from one of my runs last weekend, water conditions where perfect for WOT runs.I didn't gps this run but as Peter said this one close if not 60mph. I run a m445 8xl and a Himodel 200 esc and really advise the higher amp esc if you are planning to buy one anyway if you want max speed, I have my CG set at 28% for smooth water conditions. I don't use trim tabs and removed the turn fins (as Pate runs) and found it very stable, turning is good at WOT. I'll try posting a video of this run some time today.

Ken
CG is at 30%, does the strut alignment look ok?
As far as speed + 50 would do.
I have ordered 4s 5000 30c bats and larger props. I guess next is a larger esc.
It is running wet but with the 5s 4900 I can't get the CG any further back, hopefully the 4s battery will help.
