Interesting, But is not a printed made hull too fragile?

depends how its structured and assembled, i plan on finishing in carbon fiber potentially or some sort of other marine rated finish. i can stand on my sponsons and they have zero deflection and or cracking from my body weight.

The carbon is very light but the epoxy is lead...

Time to start the finishing, going o get the hull straight then weight it to see what I want to do. Carbon/kevlar most likely

Some flexible filler and primer, ready for another coat of filler now that I have some contrast. And can see the low spots better by being grey after a light sanding.

Block sanding and dry guide coat, flexible bumper filler.

First coat of high build primer then some light sanding.

Second coat of primer and starting to fit the cowl

Probly do two scoops instead of one, I think it looks better plus the boats going to have twins.

Started making templates for the inlay in the motor compartment. Planning on carbon Kevlar twill as I like the lighter color.

Hi Keesey. Glad to see another 3D printed hull. I printed a 72" cat that I'm working on now (16 pcs for hull, 10 pcs for hatch). I'm in the process of prepping for paint. Using automotive body filler but very unhappy with the way it is working. The stuff is super difficult to sand smooth - waited too long and it basically polished (80 grit paper) so tried sanding after a few hours and really wasn't much better. Loads up my sandpaper right away.

What did you use for filler? Any tips to make this go better for me? Looking for threads that may tell me how to do this. Must still be guys who need to do bodywork on their builds?

Good luck on your boat - I'll be following you along!

I used a flexible bumper filler, wasn?t cheap by any means, but sands super nice.
