I was going to install the 10XL in this rig of mine. I've been soldering electrical RC components for 10 years now. I started to solder on the bullet connectors, my hand touched a hot one, I jumped from pain, dropped the motor, it fell on its output shaft end, bent it and broke a magnet or something loose on the inside...
See the (poorly focused) attached pic, and spot whats wrong with it...
Now I'll have to stick the 13XL back in and use the only option of propping up to gain speed.
I was wondering wether someone know if I can fix this 10XL with a new rotor and bearings. Steven, you got them somewhere? ...and how. The front bearing is jammed, so I can't use the OSE method of removing the backplate by tapping the front shaft...
