There is a strong positive electromagnetic field between you and the Feigaos.

Maybe send a message to Steve from the OSE site because maybe he does not read this. Anyhow I do not think that the feigaos have warranty.
I believe that this may have caused the ETTI damage. Now the question is, this damage is due to defective material or due to overload?
    Anybody knows?

The photos are not clear because too close. If you have the Macro option in your camera use this one.

I took them with my cellphone, but they show what I wanted to show, that the magnets are not intact anymore.
I just made myself a pair of parallel connectors out of 5,5mm bullets and SHORT pieces of 10 gauge wire. I'll run my two 3S 4000mah 20C's and two 3S 4000mah 25C's in serie and parallel them to the ESC to have 80+100=180Amps available to the ESC and 22,2V. That would be enough to run a cool ESC and a happy 11XL.

Steven, what's your policy regarding faulty magnets splintering off your Feigao's? Any return and replacement option? If you read posts above, you'll see what set-up (6S) I ran that day.
We cover the warranty on them for 1 month from purchase.

You need to stay away from the 11XL,, you are just going to pull more amps to run the same prop and speed you were with the 13xl.. This will just cause another MELT DOWN!! If you are going to run 6S then stay with a 13-15XL motor and get the boat trimmed and propped right, then you will have your speed and less heat from pulling less amps.. Personally I would run a 15XL and 6s2p and run a M442-M445 prop... The M series is de-tounged and will draw less amps than X series props... I personally dont run the prather 215's and 220's they have too much pitch for my taste on a catamaran...

            Good luck,,
Nothing like keeping you lipos warm and your prop wet!!

Thanx for your thoughts, tx! I will ponder and adjust. I am going to run 6S2P and I have a M545 prop that I'll try with the new 13XL that Steven agreed to replace (great guy!). I'll probably ask Steven to include a M442 and M445 in the shipment.

I think I'll first prop down to X442 and work up from there since I will be runing 6S2P... In one of the pics you can see my 2x2 battery placement as well as the parallel connectors I made

Meanwhile, I watercooled the Himodel 200A ESC with water tubes AND a small 3Racing fan connected to a spare channel on the Rx. See pics.
I am waiting for my can of CorrosionX to waterproof the whole thing. I want to leave the ESC unwrapped to aid airflow and keep it cool. It will be installed raised from the hull floor. I also replaced the 12AWG black/red battery wires with 10AWG. Now only to find the right way to keep the heatsink on the FET's. Maybe zip-ties or four small bolts in the corners...

Last night I added two more tubes to the heatsink. The fan in the previous photos was a 25x25mm one, I ordered locally a 40x40mm 5V one for better airflow over the FET's.
I'm still waiting for the new 13XL...

Here is the ESC finished with the 4 tubes and a 40x40mm 5V fan to cool the FETs. I believe this ought to be enough cooling, eh?

How much does this boat wall all-up and ready to go?? All that plywood looks HEAVY... Just curious...

The plywood is how the Thundercat hull stringers and beams are constructed standard. I believe it is heavier than a MM for example, but I'll weigh it for you as soon as possible to compare. All the plywood in the interior makes this a rather cramped hull to work in and it looks a lot busier than it actually is. I'm still waiting for my 13XL to install, but I'll put in a 10XL that I have for the weighing. At this stage I have 4x 3S lipos in it to run 6S2P, but I think eventually I'll run 6S1P with 25C packs to reduce weight.

lomdel- my TC31 loss weight, I cut all the plywood out! I can't remember the exact weight it loss tho. I'll snap a pic tonight.
My prop hasn't been wet in a while.

Please do and how did you install the motor-mount? I'm actually planning to re-convert my TC31 back to nitro someday before I sell it and buy a MM or similiar cat hull... That is why I'm reluctant to start cutting everything out.

I installed the OSE DR Mount. It has worked good for me in the past and I assume it will now as well.
My prop hasn't been wet in a while.
