    AntronX,
I know you said that you did not wanted to take the rudder off (no ripping needed),
but my suggestion is, place the rudder offset to the left (you have the holes done) and the strut in the center or even a bit to the right to counter for prop walk. The problem with offsetting the strut to the right is that I would not be able to help you as far as how much off center...
someone else would have to chime in with the math to that.
There are issues if you leave the rudder center with the prop (regardless if in front or behind), not only a bitch to get the flex lubed...
Having the strut inside the hull is something tricky to have... avoiding water inside will be key for that kinda system... not impossible but it'll take some tweaking.
Have you decided on the powerplant yet?

        that is a great choice...
Mark F. just took a hydro that looks just like yours to 100mph
last weekend... you'll have a loooot of fun with it.

        Some info here

I'll ask Mark and see if someone got the kodak moment...

Edit... Jim Vaugh has some video but it's not posted here (I don't think).

Hi all, I just did a fist test run last Sunday. Setup: Neu 2230 1Y, Hydra 120 HV, 10s1p PolyRC 6Ah 25C lipo, 51mm carbon prop. Power draw was 120A 4100W. Speed estimated at 40 - 45 mph. Waiting on Shulze 40/160 to get here to take it up to 150A battery limit. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOeMm37Ddp4 Select "watch in high quality" under the video window.

I am looking for places to buy bare lipo cells to build 10S2P pack to run 200A with bigger ABC props. Emailed to enerland, but no response yet. Also, spoke today with Jim at abcprops. He's a super cool guy. Ordered 2016/3, 2118/3 for big hydro and 1616/3 for miss vegas.

Edit: Also called neumotors and spoke with Steve Neu . He got new lipos in stock that are 5C charge rated!!! Can be charged in 15 minutes. Asked if i could order bare lipo cells from him. He said yes, but at the same price per cell as his packs.

Nice I am jealous. I have a 44" Stryker hull just collecting dust, I just can't afford a 10s boat right now.

I put parts for mine on the credit card. Should pay it off in about 2 - 3 months. Gonna end up costing me about $120 in interest fees. I should call and ask for lower rate maybe.

Did you make a sub hatch for that hull or does it tape water tight just the way it is?

Its a stock hatch that came with the hull. Its not watertight, but its ok. I taped the front a little and the back, mainly to hold it in place if boat flips. There are no holes for air circulation, but the motor stayed warm, not hotter than the ESC. I want water cooling for the motor later on, and hope that i will not have to air cool lipos. I want this boat to be prop spray resistant.

In my opinion water and electronics just don't mix. If it was my hull I would make it 100% water tight. So far every boat I own comes out of the pond dry. I had to really do a good sealing job on my 33" Mono, that boat was the hardest to keep the water out of but its sealed up now. Be real careful with that CC esc, they don't like getting wet.

Can you tell what cells are these?
                          I am interested as well...

Wow, I applaud your hull sealing efforts. I am not that patient to achieve 100% sealed hull. I treat water as something that will get inside regardless of my sealing efforts. So I make sure all of my electronics can handle this. I use conformal coating on everything. Receiver, LiPos, connectors (outside, under heat shrink), ESC, UBEC, steering servo all can operate underwater with no ill effects. Motor bearings is one area that i cannot fully waterproof. So I oil them after every day of running.

It seems to me that I have to find a charger that is capable to charge my cells at 5C...
