oh LOL too far back, was not sure what you were referring to. What you see is sanding marks, there was a little knot/lump in the gelcoat, so I sanded it down to see if it effected the laminate. It was a gelcoat flaw only. Many of these hulls have either air pockets or other flaws in the gelcoat. Once sanded and painted its all good.

Thank you! Mono's? good question, I'm not much into monos myself and no one has ordered one yet LOL. I do have a DF I need to look into and maybe I'll pimp it up. There has been some nice monos on this forum lately so I might do one up.

Id love to pimp out my spartan, however i dont feel like a plastic hull will be justifiable for pimping... it does need some serious strength added tho, ultra flemsy. Not sure what to do

That' SICK!! very nice and neat. Regarding your spartan, I think keep it as it is and let it be what it is. If you like monos there are some really cool boats out there from Delta Force, H&M to MHZ and HPR just to name a couple. Still lots of others!!! Of cause depending on your pocket size and interest in this hobby.

HEY RYAN!! Nice to hear you still alive, we should chat some day!! 2 holes up front do have stand off's But the screws I'm using are all 50mm S/S M4 so have to grind them down. Its one of the things that are still on the "to do list" takes a little effort to do!

So I couldn't hold off.... Cut the decals and started to apply them. Had to change the layout slightly to keep letters at a descent size. But I think it looks very cool. Still some small ones to be applied.

Also, changed the color from white to silver metallic to suit the paint work. Was definitely a good choice! The hatch was a pain to wrap because of the sharp curves, but I cut plenty spares lol

Lol, thanks for the compliment. Hard call if it's the best one, I think every boat I've done had something unique to them. I guess because of the size of this hull, it has been the hardest one yet, there is a possibility my fingers are getting bigger too and finding it hard to reach. Some elements of this boat was definitely a challenge and all mouts and templates have been completely redesigned to suit this build

where do you get your decals from? id say the tag boat was the best, the one that matched the man spray bottle

Just need to drill and install the water outlets and she will be all done!... What a cool boat it worked out to be.
