Hang tight, I'm headed to go run mine. Has offset rudder. I think the problem is prop size and strut depth. Stay tuned and I'll have an answer.

Ok I have some info for you. Paying utmost attention as the boat it getting up on plane, it appears that the offset bracket drage in the water. Heck, it looks like it does even on plane. I plan on trying an inline on mine too just to be sure. Its a good bit off on speed compared to my river for sure. My best gps pass was 70.7mph. Pretty disappointing really but I'm just beginning to figure it out. It likes the strut high. And I mean high. I milled things so it would have more adjustment and it used all of my adjustment up, but every time I moved it up it got faster. I'm about to pull a data long on it shortly. I'll post my strut height in a few minutes.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

hey guys so i ran my daytona again today and i payed close attention also to how it was driving and it looks like it is not the offset bracket it looks like it is the wing that the connector rod connect to. It looked like it was pulling it down for some reason. I will run it again tommorow to see what happens.Every one knows the best part about building a boat is SANDING!!!! Just kiddingComment
