Don't mean to hyjack the thread, I thought the O ring was thin and the space between the motor can and the inner wall of the jacket is smaller than Leo and HRC, but I used in my JAE 21 rigger and to my surprise it work rather well, the temp was never high and the flow was more than decent.

"Are the props going to counterrotate? Or are those props just for show?"

Looks like both cables are wound the same way also

        Gil,

Such nice work and the way you think to layout everything is Top Shelf (the best).

        Regards,

Powerdemon no counterrotate props and yes the V947 will be used in this boat. With the right set up a rigger even FE doesn't need counterrotation..this way you are very short with prop selection.BTW I've been running my nitro twin with zero overveer.Ray yes the water pick ups are fastened but with little epoxy gluing too.Tlandauer thanks for the very supporting words and it's a pleasure share my projects with fellas here.Today the transom was reinforced with 3mm c.f sheets and I will start the electronic i.e connectors, mods in the esc's etc.Gill

Thanks Mike! I use to shim my struts(right side) with 1,5mm c.f sheet to compensate propwalk.I'm in the go with championship and customer's boats but I guess I can have the boat primed(not painted) for its maiden run soon.Gill

For those that were in doubt about the effiency of TP water jackets we tested them in two different boats(rigger and mono) and what I can say is that they work good with final low temps in both motors so I'm confortable now to use them in this project.Gill

....worked all day long(four boats) shortening cables, soldering connectors, anti sparks etc..man what a pain task ...installed esc's plates,In the picture you can see a good option to accomodate esc's....big o-rings passing under the c.f plate will keep them in place.Struts are ready positioned with accurate off set.Tomorrow I will install skis! Is this for a customer? You do so nice work makes me want to quit trying to build like you do.

Gill, a pleasure just to look inside the hull, love the FG/resin work, so clean. The piece you added for your rudder is cool, I am enjoying tagging along this build!
                          Cheers!

The skis have 2 degrees of AOA and won't touch water at full speed. Boat is weighting right now with all components 5,84kg so I guess it will end up after painting around 6,2kgs.Gill
