Finally getting back to this one. Since I had to fix the chip in the nose I also filled the top of the hatch where the scoop would go (if I were using it). Quick and dirty paint job....SAW boat, so I really don't care about paint, but that recess in the hatch was bother me, so it had to go. Waiting on a few decals from Monojeff.

Hey Joel great work as usual. I don't know how I missed this one for so long..... I built a few df hulls now and they run great. My last df 41 was a blast and took 80 mpg like nothing. With that particular boat I never went for more speed as it was not intende for. The 45 I did was awesome as well I never saw a two hulls that can run oval this well at that speed. I know you can care less about oval but figured I would share. As for going straight I can see mid 90's being fairly easy for the 45. Going past that will be a but of a challenge, but with some dedication and someone of your talent it should be able to be accomplished. The great thing is that you have a lot of knowledgeable people here that built them already. Google luck and looking foward to seeing the outcome......my youtube videos http://www.youtube.com/user/chris81983?feature=mheeComment

those are sick Joel, I can't wait to see this boat run I've never seen a mono go over 85 mph but at that speed it looks faster than a cat at that speed imo, 100 should be insane dude.Comment
