    Joel,
More on the CF Layup stuff,
In my experience, getting the CF as close as possible to the base material , and getting rid of extra resin makes a huge difference in the overall strength.
I realize that this can be quite difficult to achieve in something like a hull where the only access is through the hatch.

So, I am going to do an experiment. Im going to try to vacuum bag CF into a hull.
I have made an inner bag in the general shape of the , and an outer bag, and tested them to to identify any problems or leaks (where it has failed in the past)
Ill lay wetted CF cloth into the hull, put on peel ply, and breather cloth. Insert the inner bag, and put the put the whole thing into the outer bag, and seal the 2 bags together and pull a vacuum between them.
    has anyone tried this?

I haven't tried vacuum bagging personally. I understand that my method is not ideal, but it definitely adds strength to the hull. I haven't had any delamination during crashes in my other builds so far. (Knock on wood).

Thanks Tyler, I have and value any input you have. The twins present their own chanalleges including limited real estate on the transom and motor, controller, and battery placement in the hull.

          Yes.
I wasn't a fan of the outcome. It's not going to look good for sure.

Finally drilled some holes. Because there is limited space to mount two struts and the rudder, I designed this bracket that allows the rudder to mount in between the struts. Thanks to Keith for machining it. I still need to drill two large holes for the flood tubes.

Good luck on your boat Joel. It's looking nice so far and running twins should be interesteing. Can't wait to see it run.

That bracket is cool Joel, can't wait to see what kinda speed this boat achieves.

I love the way you have mapped out the hardware on the transom! Good luck on your way to triple digits!

Hello Tyler and Ralf nice to see you on the thread .

Rocstar good luck on the build , my Orange Sniper in my avatar is 3080/7 powered and does a comfortable 80mph but I have not pushed any harder - It certainly would be interesting to see one break a hundred.

wondering why you didnt put struts where trim tabs are. wouldnt that have: 1.) added stability 2.) cleaner water to props 3.) kept the rudder out of prop wash 4.) eliminated need for flood tube

With twins I want the props as close together as possible. Think about where the prop would be in relation to the bottom of the hull if this were a single. Now with twins you have to mount them high enough to allow for prop clearance, so MORE hull is in the water. It's not as easy to get the hull up on the ride pad with twins as it is with a single. If I mounted them even further apart, there would be no chance of getting her up and on top of the water. It's a delicate balance as it is. There will be a considerable amount of trial and error. While it would of been easier to use stingers, the flood tubes will allow more flexibility with adjustments. As far as the rudder in the prop wash....it's a necessary evil. Mounting it off to the side was not an option for me in this case.

Don't need a rudder at 100MPH anyway Most likely useless or disastrous .

                              Good morning Joel

Good morning Shawn. On my third cup of coffee and laying out the battery/motor/controller placement... always fun getting everything where you want it and still have room for cg adjustment in these mono hulls.
