Axel, the hull seems to be stepped to me, definitely more going on there than just sprayrails. Do you consider it not stepped because the trailing edge of each step is inline with the keel? I'm trying to understand what's going on. How is yours setup Axel? (cog, trim etc)
Mickie, some pictures of what you have planned would be great. Taking it out of the transom is not ideal for me. I'd be better off filling the wedge (leaving the spray rail) and running it like a regular mono if that's what actually has to happen. All the reading I did on stepped hulls said cog was very important, all the issues you stated were the problems listed in the reading I did. 50% cog is not a good place to be determining how the hull will perform.
