Just to keep costs down and the wife happy I'm going to have to use the esc (hv200 ice 2) I have now. I will just have to change the motor and the mount with a cool can. Not many options at this time. Wish I had known about this sight befor I got started. Didn't find it till I went to the castle sight to look at speed controlers. There just about all I run in the hellicopters. That is where I found the cool can (OSE) and then found the motor mount. Thanks OSEfor the products and members for the help. When I (with your help) find the right motor were back on the build. Can I purchase just the cowl for this 34''l cat boat in yellow? I sure screwd this one up.

Says 12s lipo 50 volts max I'd say yes. I allready have the program that I use on my helis with all the cords and stuff so programing it is not a problem. I think that down sizing on the motor will not be an issue. There I go again thinking. Will it work with a smaller motor. How much should a boat like this weigh? Balancing it out will not be an issue either I hope.

Fightercat has a mount with carbon esc mount for less than $30. You have to sign up to see it. It says for 4" rails but is actually for 5".

I bought mine right here at off shore electrics $39.00 And by the way it fit great. Just gona put it to the side for right now. Wife says theres still some old boats at the barn still in boxes that I started and never finished. Maybe this 2028 motor will fit one of them.
