I had my dad check the T.I.R. of the MBP collet vs an octura collet and the octura had .015 T.I.R. whereas the MBP had .001 T.I.R. MBP's are the only collets I will use in any future boats or builds.

Adding .300" to hull length will make it legal for Q Sport. I wonder how well it will do in this class?

Pete already has 2 vicious Q sport.

I'm looking forward to you guys racing this class. We have 4 P sports in the club now that are darned right fast. We haven't seen Balls boat yet. That would make 5 if he's true to form.

Ball is always good for 'normal person + 5mph', in my experience.

              Ball who?

Actually, I am very worried that I am putting a bunch of effort into a hull that simply isn't long enough or heavy enough to maintain the speed, handling (racing water), and speeds you guys are putting up at the moment.

Getting closer, but I still have a lot to do. Mainly the paint at this point. I don't know where I am going to find the time to prep, shoot primer, shoot paint, re-assemble, and plumb onto 4 hulls+ before nationals.

I am in a bad way right now

It's okay brother. I had some I finally had to set aside. Simply got them too late. A couple I got someone else to finish. Number one rule of racing............fun will be had.

I'm thinking a modified ML for me this winter. It's all in my head already. Not because I need one. Just cuz I can.

I might know of a guy around here that can cut pcs for you for a slightly larger/wider boat. He might ask for some input regarding dihedral and angles though.

Well, I've cursed yet another boat.

I can't help it......ever since I found the "official" Disney font.

I dug up my old whip last night. Needs a strut and a motor. Still had a receiver in there.
                              Tempting.

Thanks. Mostly just patience and sleep deprivation.

Ran it today on the NATS course! Only 60mph, but the key is that it was stable and smooth. The longer length, wider stance, and extra weight should help it in race water.
