Fantastic job on finishing this build. I would recommend adding rear mounts at some point in the future even if you are only sport running. I say this because the mass of the 30 series Lehners is considerable and when mounted only on the output side the threaded joint has to support all the weight. Usually this is OK, but wave slamming or a possible flip puts a lot of stress on this joint and it will strip. It would just be a shame to damage the motors and driveline if this were to happen.

Yamadori, not many are in a position to be critical of your builds so I wouldn't worry so much about the "criticism," out there. I can count on my hand how many guys I would trust building this boat big mhzs built cleanly require amazing precision for the parts to actually work correctly.

I saw Keith bring up the prop direction so looked earlier in the posts I fully agree with Kent on prop direction. Outward spinning props allow for some seriously impressive turning capability in the mystic, I have run outward spinning on mine. So at low speed its awesome, but once you get up to 65-70+ mph the boat tends to ride heavy under throttle and doesn't float over waves and ripples as well also amp draw increases as you can't air the hull out quite as well.

As far as CG goes, as kent said maybe the pic is deceiving and she'll run perfect on the water. I know you're not after crazy top speed but I will say for just messing around at low speed outward spinning is a cool setup.

Thanks Tyler. You were helping me from the beginning and now...this boat is slowly coming to life.
I hope she will show itself on water, but nevertheless, this was a nice time building this project. I enjoyed it very much and learned a lot.
Sometimes, I am even sorry when project comes to an end. I promise a few high quality videos :)

My dear boat people...you that have the experience with big hulls :)
I am preparing my cat for a maiden drive...at the beginning of my build I have written to MHZ headquaters Germany about which prop they recommend for my setup..and I have told them which motors and what batteries etc...they recommended propshop 3blade 6518.
Dont you think thats a bit hardcore for a beginning? I have also 3blade 6017. Should I start with that? What do you think about everything and...why did they recommend such a big and aggressive prop?

I would go no larger than 457 and see how the boat rides, 2 passes and bring her in for check. Later you have the potential for 65mm or even 70mm cut down? all depending on the rpm you running. But I would say somewhere in the 35k rpm with 57's would do you good. Atl east for a start.

Steve ran the MHZ 185 with LMT 3060's 810kv on 12s with the MGM 25063's octura 70 cut to 60mm... no heat and 93mph. Start low and work your way up

I agree with Kent and Keith..
I am running Andy Brown X457 on my HPR/Radek 233 and although you would think these are to small for a boat this size 2.3 metres, they are not! Perfect for the first few runs. Id estimate, 120- 130 kph? Pretty good for tiny props.

Hi boat people,
The boat is ready. I even had charged batteries but didn't managed to the lake. I had some other things to do...and when I check the weekends...now it comes Easter..then I have one friend from UK as a guest in my home...then I have to work for the weekend...then there will be a weekend with rain...probably..and so it goes :)
I hope I will show you maiden drive soon, sooner than I expect, hopefully

Finaly...maiden run today.
So, this is how it came out...everything was very good. No water leak at all. CG great...even I didn't try much speed. I was very affraid as I always am on the first ride. So I did this very conservatively...all the time I didn't use more than 1/4 throttle. But this thing can catch some speed even with this very small throttle input.
Everything runs cool. Very stable. My CG was very forward and I was a bit worried how this will turn out...but, this runs great. When I go full throttle I think this will benefit with a bit forward placed CG.
Unfortunately, I didn't take my tools with me and...after a few minutes collet went loose and I had to give up for today. Just a bit more fine tuning...
