Most all of the good boats look the same for a reason, they work. I don't think we're trying to imitate one another, we're just trying to find out which setups work best and which don't. There aren't many moving parts all we can do is reduce drag and secure everything well.
The crazy part of this that I find most interesting is the fact that all of the good builders have very similar setups and have the same exact thoughts of how to improve these things. Crashes don't lie and they'll let you know how well everything is secured.
Run it don't $&@# it!!! Lol!! Yea taking video and driving isn't easy. I found a good way someone on the forum did. They bent up a coat hanger that just slipped on the brim of a hat while simply clamping a phone to take video. It works for me but took a couple videos to keep my head in line with boat and not looking down.
Playtime is over fellas. Did you learn anything?
