Thanx Sean, I'll measure the cog for you tomorrow. I dunno if you saw my earlier posts where I added weight to the front?

            I am probably lagging behind,no internet lately(thanks roomie). I appreciate it BUUDDDY,LOL.
BTW I figure I can slide a pair of 3s Dinogy 2650mah into the sponsons. Perhaps some creative two part foam work will hold them

Gps of 49.3 today. That's on glass. I figure a slight ripple and I hit 50. It is more stable than my ul1 at that speed. Of course I added 1lb of weight to the sponson tips, and running 5s so there an added few grams of weight. I shot new vid I'll post

Hi, just thought I'd put up a pic of my elam. I chopped down the cowl, as even with the bubble gone and a false bottom in the intake it seemed to generate a lot of lift. The strut is of my own making. It has 180 gramms of lead in the wing which is also solid fille with resin. The sponsons have cf in the bottom to strengthen bec. our bouys keep jumping out and breaking this boat!!18042013198.jpg18042013199.jpg

Peter, it looks like you also used a different turn fin than stock. Man, making a bracket for that damn thing was the hardest part lol... For me anyways. Angle of the badangle was weird ha

That is the turn fin that came with the boat, I got the boat from another club member who han only run the boat stock on Nimh packs. I did most of the mods Darin did in his build thread, broke it, fixed it, broke it again 2nd run after those pics, fixed it, broke it again( just a little), damn bouys keep jumping at it!! It's fairly solid but pretty heavy now and can still blow over at speed. Btw our bouys are large net floats, we got sick of fixing floats, now they break the boats!
